The previous owner of my (newly acquried) 91 Westy Syncro claimed that the
engine and transmission were original and unrebuilt. It currently has 224,700
miles on it. I can't verify the claim, though it was from Southern California
and he also stated most of the miles were highway miles. It >DID< have some
work done on it (drive shaft was rebuilt, AC compressor was replaced.)
