To all, The Model T's and A's were a bit more simple than what we are driving, and made for the common man to take care of with liitle money and simple tools. These machines are not as simple or inexpensive to keep. There will never be anything to compare with these machines of the past. Not even peoples Machine is in this spot in history.

But this vehicle is 22+ years old. How long should I really hold on to a vehicle of this age, and keep rebuilding and repairing it? Does a time come when, because of the fraility of certain unrepairable items, such as the insulation on the wires throughout the van, it doesn't make sense to maintain this van? It probably won't make sense to take this van on a long road trip in 50 years. Well, between then and now, when should I bail out and look to get something else? Tell that to the folks driving Model T's....or Model A's. Or those 50's era US vehicles.
