But you removed the water pump and probably moved aside the big black coolant pipe connected to it. I want to change just the oil cooler hoses (those two small 90 degrees hoses, the one going to the thermostat actually has a 1/2" slit in it) without removing anything else, as I've done before with other (more accessible) hose. Another option is to bandage it with some RTV ("room temperature vulcanizing") silicon with external fiberglass bandage for reenforcement (BTDT. Works nicely). The problem is the limited access here.

Anyway, do you think I can "strangle" a new hose in (after I clip the old one and it's clip) without removing anything?
