Subject: Supplying power to the stock radio...
Content-Type: text/plain

Does anyone know if there is a way to have the stock "Heidelberg" radio come on and off with the ignition without activating the "sAFE" code, i.e. some way to supply it with constant power for memory only and switched power for full operation so you don't have to worry about forgetting to turn it off? There are several unused pins on the power connector on the rear of the radio which are marked "+" on the pin diagram, however I'm not sure what function they serve.

Thanks, Doug Fitz-Randolph Freeport, ME
