Good source of money for VW...(seems like they did it on purpose...). Still, I'd avoid gluing it as my PO did on one side because it's hard to remove the door trim (e.g. when you need to fix and test the electric window regulator or other stuff) with the switch permanently attached. My solution was to glue a small right-angle aliminum piece with epoxy instead of the breakable tabs. Not a problem since!
