Make sure the magnet is still on it's holder not stuck to the wheel in the distributor. The wheel has 4 opens and 4 closed area's that closes and opens the sensor in the distributor. I had a magnet break off the holder attached to the outside of the distributor and cling to the inside of the rotating wheel. The bus would run and stop completely randomly. Drove me nuts.

Hi --

Do you have a Bentley? There is a detailed sequence of steps for checking each of the ignition parts. There are a lot of possibilities right now. Is there power to the Hall sender? Does the Hall sender work? Is the signal from the Hall sender getting to the coil? Is there a rotor in the distributor?

Figuring out ignition problems is not always trivial, so don't give up right away!
