Go for it. You will notice a slight difference in performance as it is summer; had it been mid-winter, you'd notice WAY more pep in the engine as it warms up.

You will run slightly cooler, as less work is required of the engine due to fewer losses due to friction. My 2.1 and my 4.3L Jimmy, both equipped with oil coolers, have both run cooler since switching despite the more tightly controlled medium of water cooling and the difference in heat conductivity between the oils.

Remember this: besides blowing a head gasket and cracking a water-jacket-laden head, neither of which apply to you, the main danger of running hot is oil breakdown. That alone is reason enough to switch.
