We bought a set when I picked up our '87 this past June. Flew to SF, picked up the van in Santa Rosa, and drove to Santa Cruz where Peter's crew stayed late (on a Friday!) to put them on.

Although they were a stretch financially, we like having something more than the radiator between us and the outside world. And other cars, even the Navigators / Suburbans of the world, seem to keep a respectful distance. (My wife calls them the "Don't F*** With Me" bumpers.)

The one downside to date: after about 8,000 miles, the powdercoating on the front bumper is chipped up pretty badly. But yes, we'd do it again.
