Hi gang,

I'm back from three weeks on the road in Bluebelle ('84 Westy). Over 6,000 km's. We went to Newfoundland from Toronto and had a great time touring "the Rock". Saw whales, puffins, moose and icebergs. We were able to fish a chunk of iceberg ice out of the ocean so I had a Scotch on the rocks with a couple of chunks of it. Figured it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Newfoundland has great scenery, people and music. It also has miles and miles of very hilly roads...........I'm not sure there's more than a 100 feet of level road anywhere.

Bluebelle performed beautifully with one exception. We got a tankful of gas that was mostly water --- had to get towed and the tank drained, but I can't blame Bluebelle for that. One other small problem. One day away from home she started running a little hotter than usual. I think I'm missing the lower of the two fans speeds as the fan doesn't come on until the needle is a bit past the LED. Anyone know what might cause this???

Thanks, Doug
