T,

No direct experience with the one you are referring to, but:

1. When I was a kid I travelled with my Mom ..... across AZ, TX, NM & CO with one of the old ones.

Circa 1957ish.

Same principle ...... mounts on passenger window and shoots cool, damp air though a slot right into the right ear of the passenger.

The right side of my head hasn't totality dried out to this day.

2. Looked at the one you are referring too (on line) a few weeks ago. The only concern I had was the water capacity. Specs stated to refill the water every 100-150 miles. That would be a hassel.

Actually on paper I like the Swampy better.

I would love to have this AC unit if I can make it fit in my 84! Here in Phoenix, an AC unit is a god-send!!!

I have been contemplating getting one of those Window-Mount-To-The-Passenger's-Window evaporative coolers with the plug-in to the cig. lighter for power. Question: Anyone have any experience with these?<
