Subject: new postal rate hikes - increased shipping expenses
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

for those of you who may care, or dont already know by now....

as of june 30th 2002 the US postal service has raised it's rates, significantly (you may have noticed the cost of a standard stamp has gone up again to .37) these rates have gone up for parcel post shipping as well - in other words an item that would have cost you $15 to ship back in june, costs like $25 or so to ship now.. they went to "area zones" for shipping cost determinations now.. and its more expensive to ship stuff from coast to coast, rather than from state to a neighboring state that's in your same "shipping zone". just a heads up. for more info go to their site at www.usps.com
