August 16-18th THIS COMING WEEKEND!!

We will not be able to do a pig roast, as previously planned!  I didn't receive
enough feedback to settle on the right size porker... so he runs free for
another year, perhaps only to fatten up for next year?

We have, instead, decided to do a spaghetti dinner!  Bring what you and yours
will eat and maybe a couple more people.  We have invited the musicians for
Saturday night to eat with us, as well.  There is no competition involved, but
bring your own dish and we'll turn it into a potluck feast.  Again, you don't
have to participate if you don't like, but you might miss out on someone else's
noodled nectar!

The Breakfast Burrito will be the Saturday morning meal of millions, with all
other meals left up to the individual.

We have a treat in store for some Saturday evening entertainment:  Some REEL
mountain bluegrass, performed by Carter's Oats.  Carter's Oats performed for
the 1982 World's Fair and just happen to be kin to Boyd Smith.  Due to some
plumbing repairs, broken window fixes, and other miscellaneous chores, every
member of this famed group is liable to be there!  Other pickers, sangers, and
foot stompers are invited to join in whenever they get the notion!

Also, &#34;ALL ABOARD&#34; the S.S. Farfrumflotin!  Get your tickets fast, the
boat's about to leave.  (ride at own risk, event sponsors not responsible for
lost personal possessions, breath, religion, or limbs.  inquire within)

Movies will be provided free of charge, if the weather holds up, on the 18ft
projection screen Cineplex, for your audio-visual entertainment.

WATER-GOERS!!
I have had a few people ask about the level of the river: There is scheduled
rain for this week, all weekday long.  If it comes, this should fill the river
up nicely!  It's a good bit low, right now.  Let's hope the rain hurries up and
gets here and is gone by Friday, the 16th!

Don't forget to bring your own T-shirts for screen printing!  You can screen
print your own shirt, on site, for just $5 a print.  We have ordered the inks,
and if they arrive in time, we will have a navy blue and a white available,
YOUR CHOICE!  All money received from this will directly cover our expenses and
go back into the club!
