Thanks for all the responses - I'm trying to decide whether to keep my 1974 Westfalia (also have a non-running 78 I'd like to fix up). The 74 smogged fine last time around, but my County has implemented Smog Check II, which I think means they make the test more difficult to pass (correct me if I'm wrong about this) - thanks again.
