Hi everyone, On the junkyard/salvageyard note, there is a nice VW cemetary in Kingston, Arkansas that has loads of buses, vanagons, etc. I have NO connection to this place other than finding the hard-to-get "H" piece coming of the coolant expansion tank and some door panels for my 85 weekender (and I am a life-long arkansan momentarily transplanted to Virginia). The place is called Way Out salvage and they exclusively have VW's. Right now they have 2 very nice vanagons for sale (one is a Synchro and the other has a Golf conversion and was the mechanics rig for 10 years...so probably very strong). Anyway, just letting all know the resource. They have a cool web-site (search "way out salvage"). take care
