Pulled out my fridge last week to clean the burners and be curious, took some pictures for those of you who find this an utmost mystery. BTW fridge removal is actually as easy as sir Bentley describes. The rear of the fridge in all its glory http://home.att.net/~zadar72/dometicbackview.jpg top view of the wiring and airpump http://home.att.net/~zadar72/dometictopview.jpg I pulled back the heatshielding looking for the burners, found nothing but pipes, the actual area of the boiler is very small. http://home.att.net/~zadar72/dometicinsides.jpg A close up of the condenser and wimpy cooling fan http://home.att.net/~zadar72/dometicexchanger.jpg inside of the combustion chamber, you can see some rusty debris below the burner. http://home.att.net/~zadar72/dometiccombustion.jpg Next time I pull this fridge I am going to replace that pathetic condenser fan and also wire a evaporator fan in conjuction. But luxury like that will have to wait for more important things. Later......................Johnny t |
