Jeff Replaced the backpanel lamp the other day.It's the same as the fan speed backlighting. You can pull the heater knobs -they come staight out with a little effort. The backplate is held in place (push fit) at top right hand corner and bottom left hand corner.Pry gently with screwdriver. Hope this helps Gerry
