Subject: brake light problem
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

I need help with a brake light problem on my 84 westy. Stop lights don't work. I disconnected the switches (there are two) at the master cylinder and used a jumper wire between the terminals on the socket and the brake lights worked. It seems to me that indicates the problem should be with the switch(es). Both switches were replaced, and still no brake lights. The master cylinder was replaced about 6000 miles ago, and the fluid is relatively new. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA, Bill
