Diamond plate is much more skid/slip resistant if intent is to use as a step.... Projected range of prices? In this the best of all possible worlds, I'd opt for black powder coating. aljay

the polished aluminum and diamond plate is way too gaudy.. powder coated black without the top diamond plate is my vote.. chris
