Subject: Re: 84 Westfalia - Front Table Leg
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

More investigating on my missing front table leg:

According to an old microfische, the part number for the front leg I seek is 253.070.310.D. The part number for the rear leg is 253.070.310.C. Both of these numbers are NLA from Volkswagen.

My rear leg bears no part number, but I believe it to be a 310.C. It measures (when I stand it on the ground in the installed orientation) about 25" from the ground to the top of the horizontal bar. As near as I can tell from looking at the brackets in the car, the front leg should be shorter.

Does anyone out there have a 84-ish Westy with both tables? If so, could you measure the height of the front and rear legs? Not the table heights, but the legs as individual parts. The measurement I'm seeking is with the table leg on the ground, not the installed height. Also, when both tables are swung together, are they even (height wise) with each other?

Thanks.... Joe in CO 84 Westy
