Attending a 2 day workshop there. Hard to find a 'good' campground close to Hayden Island. Do not want the pull through parking lots. Any great suggestions. Then any other good info regarding WA, OR and Glacier Nat'l park. Driving from WI .

How is the weather, road, etc in late Sept, early to mid Oct for a Westy? Esp the mountains. Any place to avoid going? Any place to be sure to go?

And mechanics or shops along the way??? TU Mercedes & Tom 1985 Westy 'Van-gone'
