Hi list, Emerging from lurker status to update on my Tiico conversion. I have been well pleased with the power and economy of the inline 4 cylinder. I starts easily, runs well, gives good economy. This is a great engine for a vanagon, especially my 88 wolfsburg. But, my foot is requiring more power. I've got a line on a totalled subaru SVX and I'm considering converting my Tiico to SVX power. I'd like to hear comments from SVX converters about performance, economy, installation issues, etc... I've visited a couple of websites concerning this and I feel it's something I can do. On the other hand, I've been told I can get more useable horsepower out of my 4 cylinder by swapping to a 260 degree camshaft. I've already swapped over to golf injectors and I did notice a power increase with that change. Can the members of the list please advise me on what to do? Should I just be satisified and thankful with what I have?

Chris Stanford Montgomery, AL
