I have the Vrede Transport Steel on our 91 Carat and they are excellent.
Handling in a high cross wind is for all practical purposes almost the same
in the in the Vanagon as in my Jetta or Saab SPG - really. Wet wx - I have
no complaints - dunno about snow or slush though. They'll handle up to 65
PSI, put I run them at the rating VW has for these sized tires, which I
believe is 30 PSI up front and 40 PSI in back Though I've wondered if this
is the correct pressure too.
Hope this helps.
