On my '87 camper, you can lock and close the passenger and sliding door without the key. The second timesI locked myself out, I had the keys in my hand and reached inside with the same hand to lock and close the sliding door with interior handle. One of the keys got stuck between the door panel and the door and when I pulled my hand out of the opening, the keys stayed in the van (my other hand was full and it was raining). Neither lockout was much of an issue, both times were in the morning and I wasn't going anywhere but in my office and AAA showed up when I asked them to. I have used the AAA lockout service for the van twice as much as I have used the towing service, I wish I could say the same for my 1997 Jetta. Now I make sure my keys are in my pocket before I close the sliding door. Tim --- Bill N <freeholder@STARBAND.NET> wrote: > How do you lock your keys in the van?
