I haven't done the front yet, but just did the rear brakes on my '87 last week without much trouble. You shouldn't have any problem doing this with basic tools. I had the rear wheel hub off so it made access a little easier, but this isn't necessary. Can't really estimate the time since I did the brakes, wheel bearings, and CV joints at the same time. Only problem I had was from the new brake hardware kit I used. The shoe retaining pins were too short. Darren
-----Original Message----- Hoping someone can shed some light on how much more difficult it is to do the rear brakes on an 87 than it is to do the fronts. Will it take much longer? I did the fronts recently without much trouble, and have done other things like cv's, starter, slave, alternator, throttle body, etc. Im short on time these days, but 400-500 bucks = my Old Man Emus... Any special tools? Thanks, Jeff __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance - Get real-time stock quotes http://finance.yahoo.com |
