Hi Volks, I put in new rear brakes the other day, as well as a new master cylinder. It went OK, if you want to consider throwing 2 days away "OK;" in any case, the brakes work OK, I guess. I don't think the peddle is soft, but it is hard to tell because it goes so far down before it stops the van. How can I adjust the brakes and/or the peddle free play so the brakes work as they should, like, out of the showroom. I thought the rear brakes were self adjusting. I adjusted them manually to close to proper, thinking the self adjust mechanism would do the rest. Now what? Thanks for any suggestions, Phil, 80 Westi. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance - Get real-time stock quotes http://finance.yahoo.com |
