Yup, these folks are mighty impressive. This philosophy extends to areas other than NACA ducts of course. When I first saw the Audi TT I wanted one - just looked like someone had readdressed the Coupe style car totally, with such attention to detail - something I like to see.

I believe the early ones didn't handle particularly well, although road testers job is to find any wrinkle they can - but I also find that I tend to too... I just want to know for instance, if others notice that slightly undamped diagonal pitching or indeed exactly why one car does that and another doesn't.... maybe thats why I really liked the feel of my Syncro the first time I took it on the rough, a machine with a purpose -feels like its built to cope. Its a complex package alright and can go wrong, but those neat little features keep me constantly entranced - and those inlets just look the part - to my eye.
