first sentence above- some vw dealers WILL look at non-wbx engines in a vanagon so i'm told. Anybody that knows and likes vanagon and VW's in general should be able to and willing to work on a VW conversion. The VW mechanics that have seen my conversion were pretty excited about it.

this last sentences... uhm , no. Until you have all of the bugs worked out, and yes, there WILL be bugs, you'll be constantly tweaking, tuning and messing with the engine.
