hmm..... flamebait........ I've owned both and I beg to differ. even VW/Porsche mag (now European Car mag) once commented that the SLC vr6 Corrado which is faster than the 16V Scirocco is finally approaching the 944's performance territory. I'm paraphrasing here but it's something like that. iirc even the a2 golf 16v is faster than the scirocco. maybe we should ask the guys on the scirocco list instead of here. isn't your top end like .. 125mph?
