There's a newer Vanagon repair outfit from Richmond, California now in
Berkeley. These 2 fellows run the place called The Buslab. The two guys being
Marco & Steve. Marco worked with Listmember Coby at Valley Wagonworks in
Marin for some time.


Anyway, Steve tells me that they can upgrade your engine on a rebuild for an
extra $100-$200. Marco is running around with one of these engines in his
Vanagon.


They will be coming to the SF Van-O-Rama. So if you are in the area, come by
and talk them on September 14th with all your questions.
