hermann, i have a similar problem from time to time.  my power locks 
work on the passenger side and the sliding door, but not on the 
driver's side or the rear hatch.  except that, occasionally (especially 

when i am carrying something heavy and it is raining) i will try to 
unlock the hatch and nothing will work.  so i leave the key in the 12-6 

position (rather than the 9-3) and operate the p-locks on the 
pside/slider.  then i try again.  if nothing, i do the p-locks again.  

usually that works for me.  i know it's a contact, motor, or wire 
issue, but it happens infrequently enough to be low priority on the 
work list...
