First off for a guy who doesn't even have is VW yet I feel like I've put up
quite a few postings.  And thanks for all the help.  Now I'm finally buying
parts to go retrieve my baby.  I had a starter, I thought and was then told
it was the wrong one.  Now I'm in search again.  Calling around the
cheapest starter I've found was 96 bucks, then while checking out JC
Whitney I find one for like 55 bucks with no core exchange.  How is this?
 Does anyone know if this thing is any good?  Is it even the right one for
my '82?  The specs say it's good up to an '81 but I was told they are the
same thing.  Thanks again for all the help.
