Subject: Re: 84 Westfalia - Front Table Leg
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hello Group,

Still trying to figure out this table leg thing (so the correct leg gets shipped the first time!), and I was wondering if a few of you with both tables and legs could go out to your early/mid-80's Westy with a tape measure.

I think I have the correct combination for the rear leg and table because with the combo I have it "nests" perfectly into the area over the water tank cabinet, completely out of the way of the rear seat. The larger table (16 1/4" x 32" with an offset "turntable") appears to be the rear table. The one leg I have puts the top surface of my rear table 29" above the floor in front of the fridge.

My small table is 16 1/4" x 24", with a centered "turntable". When I put the one leg I have in the front, the table is about 34 1/2" off the floor, and will just slide over the closed stove until the "turntable" mount underneath hits the stove lid.

I was wondering if a few of you could send me your table dimensions, their locations F or R, and the heights off the main floor for both the front and rear tables. Also, if you could, let me know if the "reach" of the two table legs are different...a measurement would be nice. I'm trying to determine if, and how, the two legs are different.

Thanks So Much......Peace...... Joe in CO 84 Westy 77 Targa
