My Westy was bought at an exporter in Luxembourg fitted out for USA fed spec. the First owner bought it sight-unseen after a funny story.

She was a fiscally conservative lady who wanted a Westy as a daily driver, and to take her kids around Europe for 5-6 consecutive summers. She intended to buy one at her dealer in Salt Lake City, and had negotiated a price on same. A few weeks before the would leave for the first summer in Europe, (enough time to have it shipped over), she went to pick up the Westy.

Knowing her circumstance, the shifty dealer tried to gouge my delightful PO $4k on the price. She basically said F-you, and called a friend in Europe who had contacts. He arranged for this Luxembourg exporter to have one ready for her when she and the kids arrived. She bought it, (as I said) sight-unseen, features unknown.

It has no skylight. It has also been to >30 countries, and has been across the Atlantic seven times.

Developing business and guiding change since 1996,
