Hey there!,

I recently shopped my brains out in an attempt to get a nice one without over paying. I settled on the Canon G2 and the Nikon 995 but had to whittle my budget down a bit and secured a Toshiba PDR-M71 and matched it with a 128mb card, a Dazzle* brand card reader (to download-upload pix to the computer) and a battery charger. Seems OK to me but take bad shots in bad lighting and at night/indoors. The problem maybe and probably is the operator as I am not totally used to it yet. Manfr warranty plus thr Fry's Electronics shove it in our face-no question extension for 4 years made it a no brainer. Kodak has good ratings for basics.

I highly recommend bookmarking the site at http://www.dpreview.com. It is an EXCELLENT digicam review website for all price marks. Good luck and God bless, Jim Ellis 97 Euro Winniecamper 63 EZ Camper
