Mr. Tim, I have it not bolted down I too use the sliding door much and the back of my campmobile so it moves out of the way. I like because of the more storage it gives close as driving and no holes or tape to make inside not as new. Good for coins and tapes and other things. You woud like too. Good Morning,

Fred

I back my van into my garage with the left side as close to the wall as possible, so my wife as more room to park the Jetta (I get a lot less door dings that way). I have to use the sliding door to get in and out when the van is in the garage, so a console would be a real pain to have to step over all of the time. I probably use my sliding door more than the drivers door when I enter/exit the van, especially when its raining. That way, I can clean off my shoes on the rug in the back and avoid tracking mud and water onto the front carpeting. I use the side door so much that I have actually locked my keys in the van twice this year. Thank goodness for AAA, but it took him less than 3 seconds to get it unlocked with a SlimJim. Anyone know how to fix that problem? Tim On Tue, 27 Aug 2002, Fredrich Hesterberg wrote: I think this answer is much too simple, and no one see's this. No Tape Please. No drill holes No glue too. I just buy console with 4 cup holder in it. It now does good, and no holes or glue to spoil inside. I put maps and glasses, and coins in it too. Some even have cooler in it. ===== Tim Hannink Goldibox - 1987 Vanagon Camper, Wolfsburg Edition Winter Park, Florida http://home.earthlink.net/~tjhannink/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wolfsburg_campers http://photos.yahoo.com/tjhannink [Vanagon] Album ______________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
