Folks,

This falls under the heading of "not that anybody asked..."

A brief trip report with some photos of the "Mystery Machine" can be found at http://www.hrwa.org/pages/report_copper_harbor.html

It's mostly about paddling and some cursory history of the Keweenaw Peninsula, but like i said i've got a couple of van pictures there as well.

For what its worth, the Mystery Machine ran flawlessly for over 1,000 miles. The average MPG was about 18.7

The refrigerator ran on lp gas for the whole time... only blowing out twice on the way home for an unknown reason. Both times it went out it relit normally.

-jspeer '89 Westy, "Mystery Machine"
