Volks:

I've been battling with my AC all summer. I finally gave up and took it to a pro.

He says the expansion valve is not properly metering the freon. Is there a R-134 a specific expansion valve for Vanagons, specifically for my 84 model?

Thanks for any help. I'm trying desparately to get it fixed for this weekend. If I don't get the AC fixed soon, I won't get to use it this year:-).
