Noel,

I got two contradicting responses to my question about the bouncing of the speedometer so I just let it go and will live with it. My sense is that lubrication will not help and that it is a magnet acting upon magnet issue and that the bouncing is part of the aging process of the instrument cluster as well as the cable. Let me know if you find anything else out about this issue.
