So I just get a Purolator catalog and look up....... what? "smaller input, larger output??

C'mon, don't tease us, tell us what the number is, or what vehicle it goes on. I have taken the little cube into Pep Boys and AutoZone and left with nothing but a bunch of sales guys giving me funny looks.

Probably easier to just put a fitting on the hose coming out of the tank to make it the same size as the outlet of the filter, then there are choices.

Another nice mod would be a valve of some type to shut off the flow from the tank so you can get the filter off without crimping the hose. How many times can you crunch that hose and get away with it? Plus, if you reach under and close the valve, bingo, an anti theft device! Not gonna get too far, and he wouldn't know where to look. <g>
