This reminds me of the time I fabricated a power steering reservoir cap from a can of Dos Equis beer in the middle of the Baja desert on the way to Bahia De Los Angeles, or when I used a fish hook to fix the throttle cable on my Trooper II in the middle of the Mojave. The point? Well, like others have said, take a small variety of tools, some common sense, some creativity, and humility, and you will get through any breakdown. (I'll have to keep saying this to myself as a mantra as I drive the Westy through California, Nevada, Arizona, and Utah in a couple of weeks, because even though I've broken down/been stuck a few times in the middle of nowhere, I've never had a preschooler and an infant with me as I will this time!)
