Subject: Engine Oil Leak
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

My '85 Vanagon is dripping oil from the housing around the torque converter. It is engine oil and the problem is that it drips on the exhaust pipe causing a smell when driving. Is there a seal in there? Any suggestions as to what the problem is and a solution would be greatly appreciated.
