yeah, but if you can get or make one for cheap and have room in the garage then it's worth getting. Why? It's like a welder- you don't know how you ever lived without it once you have one. do you know how easy it is to remove a broken axe handle from an axe head with a shop press? Yes, you do need heavy wall pipes of teh right diameter (sockets work too...) and chunks of aluminum or brass and steel too... also, if you keep it clean, it can double as an apple cider press. http://sun7.bham.ac.uk/GraftonG/cider/press3.htm matthew, w/ a laser guided Bridgeport 5 axis mill and cnc at his disposal :-) If i can figure out how to use it...
