The guy I just bought my Syncro from spent 16 months in Germany as an engineering consultant on the new T5 assembly plant. He said it's quite a makeover from an engineering standpoint. New presses for one piece side stampings, stiffer body, etc. He didn't say anything about the drivetrain. What he did say was not to expect them here anytime soon. He said working there was like going to Disneyland for a kid. Unfortunately he's laid off now, thus the sale of his Syncro. Roger VanTill 89 Westy "The Moose Lounge" 86 Syncro |
