I think the 6 ton has enough clearance for wheel bearings. I think you will need the 3rd smallest if you want to do a vanagon transmission. I ended up just making a press the size I wanted, just big enough to do vanagon transmissions. The harbor freight presses were too big and heavy for my needs and my small shop.
