Do you have the sticker that tells you not to use the drain rack as a griddle? If you have the sticker, then you once had the drainer/one-use griddle.

By the way, while we are on the subject, I remain surprised that Westfalia didn't make the drain rack out of better/thicker/non-stick coated material such that it *could* be used both as a drain rack and as a cooking utensil. That would have been really smart.

Hmm...interesting. As far as I know my van is a U.S. model, but because title history laws didn't really kick in until 1983 I don't have a full history on it. It has an MPH speedometer and everything, though.

Maybe my dish drainer has just been removed by someone, somewhere along the line. (Perhaps after trying to use it as a griddle. ;) )
