Hi Jon --

Just wanted to say that while I'm not sure exactly what the PO might be talking about, it sounds like another case of making things way too complicated. The basic function of the double relay is not all that magical (I don't have it completely clear in my head either, but that's just because there are parts I've never needed to care about!). If you're really concerned that the wiring might be wrong, do the basic continuity tests from the relay socket pins to the places they should be connected, and see what you get. When considering what the PO has said, remember that this is the guy that put on a carb rather than figure out his FI, which suggests he's neither too clear on FI, nor willing to invest the time and energy to think about it. Most likely everything he has said is wrong or at least misguided... sorry, I guess I'm a cynic.

So jump in there, trust yourself, figure it out!

Keep us posted, and keep asking questions... there's a lot of folks on this list who know their way around the FI!

Good luck!

Gary
