The F23175 is the plastic inlet filter.  Not sure if I have ever used the
metal F60146 Purolator filter.  Seems to me I ordered that one from Bus
Depot.

Here is the website for the Purolator filter.  You can search by make, year
model.  A search for 1985 Vanagon revealed two different gas filters, one
is the plastic one and one is the larger metal one.  I believe the F60146
is the metal one as it is also listed for the '86 model year?  The F23175
maybe the plastic inlet filter.  I will double-check when I get home
tonight.
