Nope. Swap it out ASAP. DOT 3 and DOT 4 are not the same stuff; they not only have different boiling points, they are chemically different, and react to your system rubber (vice versa) differently. VW isn't real particular about telling you what to do unless it is important. Here they tell you EXACTLY what to use. While you are at it, get Castrol DOT 4.
