Better check on whether you can. Which state issued your current driver's license? In most states you have to be a resident to plate a vehicle there. AZ, where I also live, gets very upset if you are an AZ resident and plate a vehicle elsewhere. There is a very hefty fine for that here. To compound your problem, AZ inspects vehicles brought in from out of state. No big deal, as all they are checking is to make sure the VIN #s match the title, but you have to take it to a DMV office to get it done. If you live in Phoenix or Tucson, you will also have to get it smogged. Call a DMV office and ask them what you should do.
