Brian, First off, try a different subject line is you want a better response. I deleted your posting under the assumption that it was from some XXX spammer. "Just curious" is one of their favorite subject lines. I only thought to respond after I saw that someone responded to you regarding a Vanagon subject. Next time say something like "Curious about Vanagon this or that". Anyway, a Westy of your description can fetch as low as $2500 to $5000 in the San Francisco area. New parts once installed are just used parts as far as most buyers are concerned. You rarely get dollar for dollar what you put into a used vehicle. That is unless you are buying a non-running vehicle for dirt cheap and the new parts are being used to get it running again. Do you see what I am talking about?
